Healthy rhythms of life
It is recognised that healthy rhythms of life include work, rest, prayer, exercise and nutrition.
An aspect of this rhythm that is sometimes overlooked or not tended to enough, especially when work pressures mount up, is rest. However, we all need to take that rest – time-out for personal wellbeing to pause, pray, sleep and unwind the mind.
Our diocesan strategy, Living God’s Love, highlights the positive intention to ‘go deeper into God’, and as ministers it is important that we spend time with God and are refreshed and nourished by His Spirit. We hope and pray that, as you take time away with God in retreat, this will be the inspiration, and fuel you need in your discipleship and ministry.
