School Buildings, Land and Trusts
The Board of Education works with all diocesan schools in relation to their buildings, land and trusts by
- Managing the School Condition Allocation (SCA) programme for VA schools
- Advising on the use of other school funds for capital and revenue works
- Working with the diocesan Property Team in relation to trusts, leases and any land and trust-related actions and investigations for academisations, federations and possible school closures.

School Condition Allocations (SCA)
This capital funding helps many diocesan VA schools fund the costs of condition work, building improvement or development projects which are beyond the resources of accumulated Devolved Formula Capital (DFC) funding.
