Our Overseas links
Like all Church of England dioceses, the Diocese of St Albans is linked with other dioceses within the Churches of the Anglican Communion
Diocesan Caribbean Links Group
Every Diocese in the Church of England has one or more links with a diocese in another part of the Anglican Communion. These links are expressed through regular communication including exchange visits, schools and parish links as well as providing funding for specific projects.
The Diocese of St Albans is linked with dioceses in the Caribbean – in Guyana, North East Caribbean and Aruba, Windward Islands (West Indies) and has a more informal link with Belize.
The main purposes of the Group are to:
- Develop and maintain links between the Diocese of St Albans and dioceses in the Province of the West Indies, in line with Partnership arrangements within the Anglican Communion.
- Promote sharing and exchange between parishes, departments, and organisations of the Diocese and Caribbean partners.
The Group encourages the exchange of prayer, information and personnel – and seeks to offer support in time of need. If you would like to know more about the work of this Group, please contact (who?)
