We give thanks for the life and ministry of Malcolm Lesiter, who served as Archdeacon of Bedford from 1993 to 2003. Malcolm served the majority of his ordained ministry in the Diocese of St Albans, at St Paul’s, Highfield Hemel Hempstead, All Saints’ Leavesden and Christ Church and St John’s Radlett before becoming Archdeacon of Bedford.
We were saddened to hear of his death last week. As a diocese, we give thanks for his faithful and dedicated service, and we hold his family in our prayers as they prepare for his funeral on Friday 20 December.
Funeral and donations
The funeral service will be held at St George’s Church, Great Bromley, Colchester, CO7 7TS on Saturday 20 December 2025 at 1pm. The service will be streamed and if you would like the link, please send an email.
