The Diocese of St Albans affirms the Church of England’s national commitment, set out in From Lament to Action (2021), to become an actively anti-racist Church. As part of our work in this area we are looking for a Racial Justice Officer who will be able to use their skills in communication, leadership and training to help ensure that diocesan life, leadership, and culture reflect that national vision.
This role is offered in partnership with the national church Racial Justice Unit, which has provided funding for a fixed-term post of three years’ duration and racial justice work in the diocese.
