A contemplative service marking the beginning of Passiontide, as the Church turns its gaze towards the suffering and death of Christ. Through scripture, silence and the singing of the Good Friday set of Tenebrae Responsories by Tomás Luis de Victoria, we journey with Jesus from his arrest and trial to the sorrow of Jerusalem and the shadow of the Cross.

Sung by the Cathedral Choir, this reflective liturgy invites us to enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s Passion. Free and unticketed.
