Designed for leaders in children’s, youth, young adult, and student ministries to step away from the demands of daily workload, this retreat will be an opportunity for renewal alongside others in leadership roles. Recognising that so much of ministry is about giving outwardly, this retreat offers space to look inward and upward—to refocus on God and grow in our relationship with Him. There is an option to just come for the day on Wednesday 17 June, or come the night before (Tuesday 16 June) from 5pm for dinner, an evening reflection and games, and overnight stay.
We’ll be joined by Matt Summerfield, who will lead us through navigating the five hidden landmines of leadership. You will discover how to navigate them practically, thoughtfully and prayerfully interwoven with times of worship and quiet, offering space for reflection, insight and spiritual formation.
In the tranquil grounds of the Kents Hill Park, the day will be a mix of reflective space, time to socialise and enjoy fellowship, and moments to step back from the busyness of ministry. We hope this retreat might be an encouraging and refreshing time to reconnect with God and with others in ministry.
