On Saturday 19 September 2026 at 2pm, St Albans Cathedral will host the Installation of The Right Reverend Dr Andrew Rumsey as the 11th Bishop of St Albans. This joyful and historic service marks the beginning of Bishop Andrew’s ministry across the Diocese of St Albans and will bring together representatives from churches, schools, civic organisations and communities from across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Luton and Barnet.
We invite everyone across the Diocese and beyond to join us in praying for Bishop Andrew, Rebecca and their family as they prepare for this new chapter of ministry.
