Affinity is a free graphic design tool churches can use to create more complex or print-focused work. Dave Pickett from the Diocese of St Albans shares how you can get started.

If you’ve spent any time in church communications over the last few years, chances are you’ve come across Canva. It’s become a go‑to tool for many dioceses and parishes, simple, collaborative, and crucially, free for churches through the Canva for Non-profits offer. If you’ve not yet explored that, it’s well worth a look in our guide to get set up.

You now have access to more advanced design capabilities without the cost or complexity of traditional tools like Adobe.

In this blog, we explore what Affinity is, how it fits alongside Canva, and why it is worth considering.
