Familes Worker, Barnet
We are looking for someone who will seek to:
– Reach out to, and build relationships with young people and families in the local community.
– Enable young people and families to be part of the worshipping community.
– Engage with and seek to integrate some of the families from the parent and toddler group into the church.
– Organise a monthly ‘Messy Church’ and build a group of volunteers to run this.
– Explore the development of discipleship and outreach groups (such as for dads, mums, teens etc).
– Work with the Parish Safeguarding Officer to ensure that all aspects of our families and young people’s work complies with the PCC’s safeguarding policies and best practice.
