Satellites Volunteer, Youthscape
Satellites is a summer event for young people, brought to you by the team at Youthscape. It’s a five-day gathering, designed to inspire teenagers to live with God at the centre of their lives for the other 360 days of the year.
This year we’re looking for some hard-working, servant-hearted people who want to enable young people to meet with Jesus, to learn how to keep him at the centre of their lives and to help us make Satellites the best event it can be. There are a wide range of different teams to apply for so there should be something to suit everyone’s skill set – from practical to administrative, creative to pastoral, welcoming people as they arrive to tidying the site up as they leave.
The dates for this year’s event are from the 6 – 10 August 2026 at Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet. We require team to arrive on Wednesday 5 August and depart on Tuesday 11 August.
The ticket is FREE and includes three meals a day and access to the Teams Hub where drinks and snacks can be found as well as being a place to relax. You’ll do around eight hours per day, the rest of the time you are free to relax or go and enjoy elements of the programme yourself.
