The October meeting of the Diocesan Synod will take place on Saturday 17 October. This is an in-person meeting and will be held at King’s House, Bedford MK42 9AZ. Synod will commence at 0930 and will end at approximately 1600. Lunch will be provided.
The agenda and supporting papers for this meeting will be issued on Friday 25 September.
Questions for answer at this session must be submitted not later than 14 days in advance of the session – i.e. Friday 2 October 2026 – unless a special dispensation has been given to accept later notice. Questions should be submitted to governance@stalbansdiocese.org and members submitting questions are particularly asked to make it clear to whom they are addressed.
Please note that there will be a Pre-Synod Finance Webinar held via Zoom at 1900 on Tuesday 15 September. The Zoom link for that meeting will be sent directly to Synod members during week commencing 7 September.
