Beginners’ Hebrew

This 6-week course introduces Biblical Hebrew, one of the foundational languages of the Old Testament. Across the course, students will engage with key questions that lie at the heart of reading the Hebrew Bible: How does language shape meaning in the biblical text? What can careful attention to Hebrew grammar reveal that is less visible in translation? And how does linguistic analysis contribute to broader exegetical and theological interpretation?
