About Charles Hudson

Before ordination, Charles worked for eight years as a commercial lawyer in London. He was ordained in 2008 at St Paul’s Cathedral and served his curacy at All Souls, St Margarets near Twickenham, before moving to Broxbourne with Wormley, where he has been involved in launching new worshipping communities, as well as working with local schools, children and families.

He was Rural Dean of Cheshunt for five years until last year. Bishop Alan has described Charles as serving “with distinction” at Broxbourne since 2011 and during his time as Rural Dean.

He is married to Charlie, who is also a priest in the Diocese, and they have two teenage daughters. In his spare time, Charles likes to watch sport, play golf, read and spend time with family and friends.

Join us in praying for Charles as he begins this exciting new role in the Diocese.
