Food poverty
An increasing numbers of people in the UK are now experiencing extreme hardship. There is a need for more food banks, community larders and parish pantries.
Additional support could be a simple food parcel or voucher-distribution scheme, or a means of re-distributing good quality surplus food from the food industry to charitable support groups for low income, homeless and other vulnerable people.
