Why?
People are inspired to give when they can see hope, purpose and possibility. A message that is rooted only in financial need or shortfall can feel limiting; a message that is grounded in vision invites people to be part of something life-giving and forward-looking.
Generosity is not just about meeting costs – it is a response to God’s generosity, and a vital part of our discipleship. When people understand both the spiritual significance of giving and the difference it makes, they are far more likely to respond with joy and commitment.
How?
Articulate a clear and consistent vision for your church’s mission and ministry. Be specific about what you are seeking to achieve and who you are serving.
Tell stories that demonstrate impact – lives changed, communities supported, faith nurtured. Use a variety of formats, including spoken, written and visual communication.
Keep your message simple, authentic and rooted in your local context. Repeat it regularly so that it becomes familiar and understood across the whole congregation.
